Ostomy bags are made from plastic that can irritate the skin. Covering bags with soft cotton or flannels can make an ostomy bag more comfortable and provide a bit of fun and whimsy for the patient. Bring your sewing machine, pedal, sewing kit, and white thread and help us create these special bags. Donations of soft cotton and flannel in patterns suitable for adults or children are welcome. Bags will be distributed to individuals in Racine and surrounding areas. Check our schedule or call the store for information on our next event.
