You may register for classes at the store, or
by phone, 262-554-8708. Payment must be made no later than one week prior to the class.
Most classes have a student limit; classes will be filled on a first paid basis.
Supply lists should be picked up at the store.
We will be happy to assist you in gathering all the necessary materials for your class.
You must cancel at least one week in advance to receive a refund in the form of a store credit. No credit for no-shows.
| BEYOND MACHINE BASICS PART II|
We will continue to increase our sewing skills. This class is a lecture/demonstration and hands-on. You will need your sewing machine (please make sure it is in good working order) and instruction book for your machine. We will work on creating samples for the following:
Buttonholes (buttonhole foot)
Blind hem (blind hem foot)
Notched turtleneck collar
Lettuce edge neck application

| KIDS CRAFT CLUB|
Youth ages 9 and up are invited to attend the Kids Craft Club! Youth will learn a new craft that will be both functional and FUN!
Participants are asked to register by Wednesday before the club meets in order that supplies can be purchased.
Crafts this past year included: holiday crafts, jewelry, a needle book and hand embroidery stitches. The Kids Club sample board will be on display at the store. Come and join us and learn a new craft!

Twelve months of getting to know your machine with monthly projects, tip and ideas. Lecture based class. We will go through the various applications and features of the Janome Memory Craft 15000 and Memory Craft 12000.

| HUGS FOR KIDS|
Pack up your machine and join us on one or more of the dates listed below. Patterns, fabric & accessories are all provided for these quick and easy-to-assemble stuffed animals. These delightful little critters bring needed comfort to children in traumatic situations.

| QUILTS FOR SOLDIERS|
Quilts for Soldiers is a quilt making workshop to provide quilts for Service Members in V.A. hospitals, and children of Soldiers. We ask that you bring your machine, rulers, thread, and all the usual quilting supplies. If you don't have some of these, we will have these too. Donated fabric is available OR you may bring any fabric selection of your choice. Anyone interested in a contribution of fabric may also do so. You can contact Nancy Larsen at 637-5275 with any questions.

| BINDING BASICS|
Come learn four basic binding variations. Students will understand all four, choose one to make and apply, and then decide on the binding of their choice for their next quilt project.

| HOW TO FINISH YOUR QUILT|
Learn the concepts of how to finish any size quilt. This hands-on workshop will show how to layer, quilt and bind with lots of techniques and directions. Students must have a small quilt top ready to be basted. Supply list will give more information. Beginning Quilting students and others are welcome.

| MAKING BLOCKS AND PIECING THE TOP|
This is a good class for any quilter who wants to learn how to choose fabrics, how to accurately piece quilt blocks, and how to decide what to do with these blocks. Students will piece three or four blocks of three different patterns and can use these nine or twelve blocks in a project of their choice.

| “AUNT LUCY’S MEDALLION” 2014~2015 QUILT UNIVERSITY|
PATTERN: We will be using Lori Smith’s “Aunt Lucy’s Medallion pattern with an 18 inch center. Border One uses 3 inch blocks on point and Border Two uses 6 inch blocks on point. Final quilt size is up to the quilter plus all fabric choices are made by each quilter! Use your stash or buy your choice with your gift card!!
CLASSES: *The October class will be ONE HOUR INDIVIDUAL sessions to pick fabrics, discuss fabrics, and discuss the first pattern with tips from the Instructor! Sessions will be held on:
Wed, Oct 1, 1-6 pm Thu, Oct 2, 1-5 pm Mon, Oct 6, 12-6 pm. Tue, Oct 7, 1-5 pm
Students will need to sign up with the Instructor after the tuition is paid.
The rest of the meetings will be held on the third Mondays ~ November 17, 2014, January 19, February 16, March 16, and April 20, 2015.
TIMES: 2:00 to 3:00 pm, 3:30 to 4:30 pm, 5:15 to 6:15 pm OR 6:30 to 7:30 pm
MAXIMUM: 8 students MAX for 2:00, 3:30, and 5:15 and 4 students for 6:30 with a MIN of 3 per session
COST: $275 for SIX classes includes a $190 Gift Certificate to buy fabrics for the quilt top and binding!
